Very clean, very close to many nightspots and local markets. Plenty of decent entertainment facilities on site such as DVD player, computer access & wifi for my iPhone so I'm not paying international data prices while I'm here.
The mattress was rock solid, didn't bother me much but some may prefer something a bit softer.

I really liked the warm and cozy atmosphere of the hostel. The common areas were beautifully decorated with comfortable seating, making it a great place to relax and meet other travelers. As a senior, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. It was easy to navigate and had good lighting, which made it safer for me to move around. Plus, the location was convenient, with shops, markets, and spas within walking distance.
I would have loved if the staff had been more attentive to the needs of senior guests. A dedicated guest assistance service or a little bit more guidance from the children working there would have made my vacation even better.

Most people staying there were nice and not your typical backpackers that stay in kao san rd. The staff were all really friendly and helpful about where to go and how to get around. Good location as well.
While I was there a girl vomited in the room and when I asked her and the staff to clean it up no one wanted to take responsibility and therefor had to sleep in a room with vomit on the floor for a night . The beds were quite hard and not that comfortable. The showers were also really hard to get a nice even temperature they were either too hot or too cold.

Mind-blowing staff, super awesome facilities like free coffee, tea, and water, and jaw-droppingly clean rooms. Close to yummy food stalls and a bustling market, as well as public transportation and a mall. The staff even recommended a cheap and amazing pool nearby with a sweet view and a little gym. Amazing experience overall!

During our recent stay at HQ Hostel Silom, we had a great time exploring the hostel's friendly environment. It was wonderful to hang out in the common area, which had TV and DVD facilities, as well as the convenience of drinking water refills. The staff made us feel welcome and were always ready to assist.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as noise from nearby rooms and construction sounds from the street, they did not significantly impact our overall experience. The hostel's location, affordability, and the availability of buses for easy access to the heart of Bangkok, including the Platinum shopping centre, made it a worthwhile stay.

I recently stayed at Hq Hostel Silom for a few nights during my trip to Thailand. The location is fantastic, surrounded by shops and amenities. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with cozy beds. The staff, especially Nicky at reception, are incredibly helpful and went above and beyond when I had a medical emergency. They even lent me a personal cell phone and made calls on my behalf. The common areas, like the level 5 chill-out area and the kitchen near the lobby, make you feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, and I would definitely stay here again.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
